I was 12 when I taught myself to code, and ever since I have been designing, developing and marketing software products in one way or another. I love solving problems and creating delightful experiences for users. And I love the myriad of technical and business challenges that come with managing and scaling products and startups.
Most recently, I was the founding product manager and first employee at YieldStreet, a Greycroft-funded online marketplace providing access to asset based investments historically unavailable to most investors. As part of the executive team, I helped build the platform and company from an idea to over $200M AUM and thousands of users in less than two years.
Prior to YieldStreet, I was the VP of Product at AgilityIO, a design and development studio focused on helping seed and early stage technology startups execute, scale and grow. During these years, I learned the ins and out of Lean UX and worked with awesome tech entrepreneurs to build their dreams including companies such as NerdWallet and Accompany.
My early career was spent in Wall Street. As a lead engineer at Merrill Lynch, I built and scaled quant strategies and systems for fixed income trading before big data and machine learning was cool. During this time I became a CFA charterholder.
I received a bachelors in Computer Engineering from UT Austin and an MBA from NYU Stern.
I am currently looking out for a new adventure. I am looking to join a disruptive startup as a co-founder or early employee. I also do freelance work via AzabuCollective.
“ In the early days of a startup you need very special skill set to navigate a world that is chaotic, uncertain and filled with anxiety each day. No matter what we asked of him, Ramsy rose to the occasion and was a pillar of strength and stability for YieldStreet as we built our tech & product infrastructure.
